Cocktails and Drinks

Wild Banshee Gold Margarita:  This drink appears first on this list because I consider it my greatest libation masterpiece.  Don't bother quibbling with me about whether this is an authentic Mexican drink.  It is delicious, and every guest I've ever served it to agrees.

Southern Belle
Southern Belle:  I discovered this drink on a Kentucky Derby website.  My cousin renamed it.  The Southern Belle is a very pretty and very tasty variation on the traditional cranberry and vodka.

Banshee Collins:  This is a slightly sweeter version than a traditional vodka collins.  But, don't let the taste fool you.  This drink packs a punch.

Cherry Beer Margarita:  The only thing about this drink that links it to a real margarita is the tequila.  Nonetheless, it is very tasty.  It's a good party drink because it is not too strong and you can make it ahead of time.

Pomegranate Margarita:  These margaritas are very sweet and not nearly as strong as their more traditional namesake.  This is a good drink for parties.

Party Punch Sangria
Branberry Schorr:  This is another twist on a cranberry and vodka.  This drink was invented by the Schorr sisters.  They are classy ladies, and this is a classy drink.

Party Punch Sangria:  I know that "punch" and "sangria" are redundant.  But, this drink is so tasty that it deserves extra adjectives.  It also looks very pretty in pitchers and in wine glasses.

Sweet Tequila Tea:  This drink is another great party offering.  It can be made ahead of time and served in pitchers, and it is not too strong.

Peach Bulldog:  The Peach Bulldog is a refreshing and delightful twist on the cranberry and vodka.  This drink invented by one of the Schorr sisters.

Shaken Captain:  A perfect summer drink.  The Shaken Captain features rum and pineapple juice.

The Azalea:  I discovered this drink on FoodGawker.com.  This fruity gin drink is named after the 13th hole at Augusta National Golf Club.

Blackberry Margaritas
Blackberry Margaritas:  These margaritas are beautiful to look at and are absolutely delicious to drink.  Highly recommended for any summer party.

Dessert Drinks:  This is a two-for-one recipe.  It includes the directions for making a Birthday Cake Cocktail and a Liquid Creamsicle.  They are tasty, and the concept is fun.

The Royal Apple:  The Royal Apple was created in colonial Virginia.  I was introduced to it by a local pharmacist.  If it was good enough for Thomas Jefferson, it should be good enough for you.

Pear Martini:  This delicious fall drink combines the flavors of vodka and hard cider with mellow pear juice.

Party Time Lemonade:  This drink is not the kind of thing you can buy from a stand run by the neighbor's kids.  This is lemonade with an adult twist.

The Ward 8:  This bourbon drink is named after a corrupt political system, and it will corrupt your mind if you aren't careful.

Big Ron's Rum Punch:  It's called rum punch.  What's not to like?

Rum Runner:  Heavy on the pineapple, this is a perfect poolside drink.
